The main purpose of resume is used to briefly convey information about your skills and strengths that make you eligible for a job while at the same time conveying to the employer that your skills and strengths are useful for the company.

The following are the fields in the resume to begin with:

Contact Information: 
                            Name should be highlighted then followed by address, phone number and email if possible linked in account.

Career Objective:
                           State your objective about how and why you should be employed and that you have what it takes and the required skills to get employed in not more than three or four lines, this should make a good beginning, so ensure that you take care while writing it.

Summary:
                          This field should contain the highlights of your previous employment track record as well as your skills and abilities outlining why you are suitable for this job and take care to mention those only which are relevant to the present job you are applying for.

Experience:
                         In this field you should mention your work locations, roles and responsibilities and date and tenure of work at that particular location.

Skills:
